The price of silicon material has dropped below "4"!

On March 11, the Silicon Industry Branch released the latest silicon material prices. This week, the prices of N-type compound feed and dense material continued to decline, with decreases of 6.39% and 6.42% respectively. Among them, the lowest transaction price of N-type dense material reached 39,000 yuan per ton, a recent low.

Specifically, the transaction price range of polysilicon N-type compound feed was 42,000 to 48,000 yuan per ton, with an average transaction price of 45,200 yuan per ton, down 6.42% month-on-month; the transaction price range of N-type granular silicon was 43,000 to 45,000 yuan per ton, with the average transaction price remaining at 44,000 yuan per ton.

According to an analysis by the Silicon Industry Branch, the main reasons for the decline in silicon material prices are as follows: first, the start-up of terminal installation projects is slow; second, the social inventory of polysilicon has reached a historical high and is continuing to accumulate.
